About Digital Health: NOW!
Demographic development, structural factors, staff shortages: the healthcare system in Europe is facing major challenges. At the same time, the digitalization of social life is changing citizens’ expectations of modern care and creating new opportunities for networked, digitally supported medicine. Dealing with the COVID-19 pandemic has shown how important it is to switch to shared healthcare quickly. Alternatives to face-to-face medicine had to be established within a very short time.
Many solutions have shown, that digital medicine (e.g. telemedicine, networking, automatic integration and AI-supported use of data) can strengthen healthcare services. The highest level of medical expertise and cross-national cooperation in care must be available in every part of Europe. The ultimate goal is value-based healthcare for all citizens in the EU.
An exciting, free online congress on this topic awaits you on November 23, 2021.
Digital Health: NOW! is organized by the German Society for Telemedicine (DGTelemed), the Innovation Center Digital Medicine of the University Hospital RWTH Aachen (IZDM) and ZTG Center for Telematics and Telemedicine GmbH.
For the first time, as part of the online congress under the patronage of Minister Prof. Dr. Andreas Pinkwart, Minister for Economy, Innovation, Digitization and Energy of the State of North Rhine-Westphalia, the “Digital Health Award” will be presented.
